Compact 12V SLA Battery Charger with Short Circuit Protection

This battery charger is designed specifically for 12V Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries and should not be used with any other types of batteries. It is important to remove the charger from the battery once it is fully charged.

The input voltage for this charger is 100V-240V AC 50/60 HZ, and the output voltage is 14.2-14.8V, making it suitable for 12V car and motorcycle batteries. The charger features a red LED that illuminates during the charging process, and a green LED that indicates when the battery is fully charged.

The charger is intended for indoor use and is suitable for 12V applications only. The dimensions of the charger are approximately 7.3 x 4.8 x 2.9 cm (2.87" x 1.88" x 1.14"). The power wire length and the overall wire length are both 90 cm.

The red clip of the charger connects to the positive terminal, while the black clip connects to the negative terminal. The charging time varies depending on the size of the battery. For a 12V 5-7AH battery, the charging time is approximately 6 hours; for a 12V 9AH battery, it takes around 10 hours; and for a 12V 15-25AH battery, the charging time is approximately 13-15 hours.

The LED indicators on the charger provide visual cues about the charging status. The red LED indicates that the battery is charging, and the green LED signifies that the battery is fully charged. If the battery has not been used for a long time, the charger may initially display a green LED, which is normal. In such cases, the charger will require 5-6 hours to activate the battery, after which the light will turn red, and the charging process will commence.

The charger features short circuit protection, providing enhanced safety when charging your battery. Additionally, it has electrode reverse connection protection, which plays a protective role in case the positive and negative terminals are accidentally connected incorrectly. The correct connection method is to attach the red clip to the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal.

This charger is suitable for a wide range of 12V valve-controlled maintenance-free lead-acid batteries, including those used in motorcycles, cars, backup power systems, UPS, emergency power, solar applications, audio equipment, fire alarms, security systems, ATVs, and lawn mowers, as well as electric sprayers.
